The Ireland Supporters Club of Mississauga was founded on the 25th May 1993. The objects for which the corporation is incorporated are:
- To establish and maintain an Irish cultural and community centre to be conducted on a non-sectarian, non-political and non-profit principles for the purpose of promoting and maintaining cultural links between Ireland and members of the corporation.
- To promote Irish music, dancing and sports.
- To provide an environment and circumstances whereby members of the Irish community can meet and share information of assistance to the members.
The special provisions are:
- The corporation shall be carried on without the purpose of gain for its members and any profits or other accretions to the corporation shall be used in promoting its objects.
- The directors shall serve as such without remuneration, and no director shall directly or indirectly receive any profit from his/her position as such; provided that a director may be paid reasonable expenses incurred by him/her in the performance of his/her duties.
For the further attainment of the objects aforesaid, the powers of the corporation are:
- To accept donations, gifts, legacies and bequests.
