The Ireland Supporters Club of Mississauga was founded on the 25th May 1993. The objects for which the corporation is incorporated are:

  1. To establish and maintain an Irish cultural and community centre to be conducted on a non-sectarian, non-political and non-profit principles for the purpose of promoting and maintaining cultural links between Ireland and members of the corporation.
  2. To promote Irish music, dancing and sports.
  3. To provide an environment and circumstances whereby members of the Irish community can meet and share information of assistance to the members.

The special provisions are:

  1. The corporation shall be carried on without the purpose of gain for its members and any profits or other accretions to the corporation shall be used in promoting its objects.
  2. The directors shall serve as such without remuneration, and no director shall directly or indirectly receive any profit from his/her position as such; provided that a director may be paid reasonable expenses incurred by him/her in the performance of his/her duties.

For the further attainment of the objects aforesaid, the powers of the corporation are:

  1. To accept donations, gifts, legacies and bequests.
